Warehouse Operative- Full Time
WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
The Mountain Boot Company Ltd. is a market leading distributor of premium outdoor and climbing brands including Scarpa, Sea To Summit and Grivel.

We are seeking to recruit additional staff to join our Warehouse team. Based in Wallsend, Newcastle the company offers a generous package of benefits and a chance to join a great team and dynamic environment working in one of the leading and most progressive outdoor distributors in the UK.
Key functions of the role include:
- Picking and packing orders ranging from multi-brand orders for retail customers, to single pick orders fulfilling direct to consumer sales
- Maintaining tidiness and organisation of all working areas
- Processing of inbound deliveries from suppliers
- Facilitating stock transfer to and from bulk and pick locations
- Assisting on annual stock checks and daily stock maintenance
Please note that this role requires manual handling of large/heavy boxes
Ideal candidates will have:
- A passion for outdoor pursuits
- A strong, proven history of working in warehouse roles including picking and dispatch
- Proven track record working as part of a team
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Experience working with handheld scanning hardware and basic IT systems (Microsoft based)
- A strong ability to communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
- A dynamic personality, with a strong can do, will do mentality
- A desire and passion for service excellence and going the extra mile every day
- A drive for accuracy and attention to detail
- A forklift licence/experience is desirable but not essential
The package
- Monday to Friday 8:30am-16:30pm (30-minute lunch break)
- Hourly rate £12.21
