E-Commerce Customer Support Operative

We are seeking to appoint an individual to the role of E-commerce Customer Support Operative.

Working from our office in Newcastle, the responsibilities of the role include:

  • Physical processing of DTC order returns in our warehouse ensuring efficient and accurate handling of products.
  • Processing DTC returns and refunds through our e-commerce platforms and ERP system to ensure prompt refunds and accurate and efficient stock management
  • Working as a liaison between the Customer Service and After Sales teams on returns of DTC orders.
  • Actioning customer instructions regarding e-commerce orders and returns
  • Answering customer queries both by email and phone

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A genuine passion for the outdoors and outdoor kit
  • A proactive approach and strong work ethic
  • A proven track record/background in customer service
  • The ability to work alone and as part of team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office packages including Outlook and Excel
  • Experience working in the outdoor retail sector is desirable but not essential
