Customer Service Operative
The Mountain Boot Company Ltd. is a market leading distributor of premium outdoor and climbing brands including Scarpa, Sea To Summit and Grivel.

We are seeking to appoint an additional member of staff in the role of Customer Service Operative to bolster our existing team.
Working from our office in Newcastle, the responsibilities of the role include:
- Data entry/processing of customer orders using our ERP system
- Management of outstanding customer orderbooks to maintain accuracy
- Proactively reaching out to our customers to provide updates on future orders and back orders
- Answering technical queries from retailers and end consumers both by phone and e-mail
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A genuine passion for the outdoors and outdoor kit
- A proactive approach and strong work ethic
- A proven track record/background in customer service
- The ability to work alone and as part of team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office packages including Outlook and Excel
- Experience working in the outdoor retail sector is desirable but not essential
